Zooming in on sims under water is quit the hoot😆


Instead of going to Magnolia Park for the 50th time we took off to a cafe to scout out a boy for Laura to finally flirt with.

L:You didn't even buy me a coffee AT A COFFEE SHOP!
C:look we are poor ok.


C: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
L:Flirting with this lovely man infront of me. He likes it.
C:OMG thats his wife next to him freaking out.
L:And?

Omg I literally gave zero cares that he was married 🙈I mean she isn't going to marry this dude so why not. His wife freaking out was just a nice cherry on top.

I was on the normal aging setting and realized that she would age to fast for my liking and the rules do allow you to set it.....now I'm switching it up in the middle but shhhh I think we are good. I set it to long life and we spent the rest of the day foraging.

L: This librarian is really cute!

Just like last time I went for it because it's not like she's going to marry him. Sorry dude but I want to pick a cutie.

C: *sigh* well you asked


Next we headed over to the spice festival, burnt our tongue, and picked all the food in the garden and sold it.
L: I think I got fat on the food 😍🍲
THATS WHAT SHE GOT FAT ON. Later on I was like- Is she heavier? like cool but what? and I think this was the moment cause I had her eat a lot oops!


Welp what a love day! Ended it with a nice lovely shower at the gym!


L:Uhg this is awkward why is he here?
C: He's the LIBRARIAN and you my dear are at the library trying to get to handiness level five so you can have a home.
L: Okay okay okay I get it. I guess I'll be nice.
C: So you gonna accept his offer for a date later tonight?
L: Oh heck no I'm too busy reading. 

She read

and you guessed it
read. Level 4 and then LEVEL 5 REACHED!
And at this point we had foraged enough to pay off the 500$ for noise complaints and still had around $1,000. Not ideal but it's something.
Only took 8 sims days to reach this goal😅


L:LOOK IM RUNNING!
C: WOW! why tho?
L: Time for a house!!

Can't really call this a house but finally having the clear to start building was such a success! First mandatory goal met!
And in reward we have 3 whole wall panels, toilet, sink and a cheap camping bed from outdoor retreat.

I read the rules many times trying to make sure I was following everything correctly but it wasn't until further into the game that I realized all furniture has to be inside walls until you reach the steps for gardening so this was not an intentional breaking of rules

1.7- Love, Hate, and Birthdays

1.8- Love, Hate, and Birthdays  We were able to avoid two toddlers at once because finally, Aylin maxed out all her skills. Pretty proud moment here as this is the first in my history of playing sims. It just was never a goal of mine. But boy was it harder than I thought!  Since you can age them up once they reach their goal, I am uncertain if not finishing their goal( like maxing out a skill) before they age is seen as a failure. I personally don't want that pressure so I turned off aging and she technically aged up a day late and I made Oliver take a vacation day to help her.  Thankfully the days flew by and before we knew it Dawn was a cute little toddler.  But unfortunately, her randomized trait is fussy.  Laura: Ohh boy I am in love with Aylin's study area under her bed.
