 1.4- Rings, Roofs and Retching 

We last left off the with accidental murder by fire of Laura's boyfriends roommate. Well strap yourselves in for a slighter longer post this time around.

Unfazed by the death Laura went on with her sim life.


At this point my next goal is getting enough furniture and money in order to get a job. So aside from dates with her boo and caring for her needs, she slaved away on the piano at the nightclub. 


L:I'm so sorry you lost your roommate. Let me comfort you 😇😘
Oliver on the other hand was very sad so he came over to share his sadness and Laura cheered him up real quick.


Laura invited him inside and they took their first selfie to hang up on the wall.
I completely forgot I could take a bajillion photos for money so I ended up selling the crappy selfies. 
Now I wouldn't think to propose after such tragedy but I am not Laura.
L:You know what. Least I have someone
C:Ouch ok 


L:In this short while I have fallen in love with your kind heart, your contagious laughter, and I can't imagine not living the rest of my life without you. Will you marry me? 


Oliver:Hmmm how about YES!! 

Gah how adorable! Now we slave away at the piano in order to get a job and then marry the hunk of a man! The newest additions (( still not knowing everything needs to be inside the walls) are a stove, shower, sink, and a counter. 

The next day we were able to expand the house and fit everything side 🥳🥳


I am officially the worst at reading the rules. I thought I had all the requirements to get a job until writing this blog. I bought the chair thinking I was met the requirement but I wasn't noticing that I also needed to buy a table *face palm* 
Sooo thinking I had achieved the goal, I paid the 1,000$ for college and then started her secret agent career.


AHHH! This was my first time experiencing thanksgiving and the gnomes scared me. I ended up selling them for a nice profit. 


The newly weds went on yet another date while Laura continued to ignore the librarian calls and texts asking to hangout.

L:Like dude take a hint 


Laura continued to slave away at the piano and began writing songs. She was starting to bring in 200-400$  per night after work. After her first shift at work she as promoted to Intelligence researcher. 



Oliver was finally able to come and watch her play piano, she serenaded him and they fell even more in love! eww

OKAY so again I didn't know you couldn't put anything outside till you meet the garden requirements but here I am so proud of her growing home! I am horrible at house designing so I hope this process helps me.

And finally we have rooms! One tiny bedroom, a bathroom and then kitchen and living area. Laura was once again promoted to Agent handler and you can see her cool rewards in the corner-chair and desk.

And Now We Wed!



Before the ceremony kicked off, Laura serenaded Oliver and got him all nice and flirty for the ceremony.
Now please excuse me while I spam you because I just love love.


L:I do!
O:I do too!

L:Ready to be poor?
O: I got you! Lets do this!


And then life together started, found out Oliver was already like 7 promotions in and brought home a nice paycheck 3 times a week! He had to get 1 million followers on social media and we were starting from scratch so his next promotion is far away! 
They spent a few days as blissful honeymooners before confetti fell over Laura and a small bump formed.

L:Can you imagine finding out you have cancer by confetti like "congrats on your lump?"
C:AHAH gurl you don't have cancer


L:Honey we are gonna be parents!
Oliver: WHAT?!? No way bob!!!


You can't really see her little 1st trimester bump cause she a bit chubby but thats okay <3 I took picture anyway! Over the course of her first trimester the toilet became her Buddy. 

Laura got promoted yet again and is now a Field Agent and in the 2nd trimester. Once baby is here she won't have much time for piano playing and money making so she spent most of her pregnancy slaving away at the keys. I believe she was at skill level 8 or 9 at this point.

1.7- Love, Hate, and Birthdays

1.8- Love, Hate, and Birthdays  We were able to avoid two toddlers at once because finally, Aylin maxed out all her skills. Pretty proud moment here as this is the first in my history of playing sims. It just was never a goal of mine. But boy was it harder than I thought!  Since you can age them up once they reach their goal, I am uncertain if not finishing their goal( like maxing out a skill) before they age is seen as a failure. I personally don't want that pressure so I turned off aging and she technically aged up a day late and I made Oliver take a vacation day to help her.  Thankfully the days flew by and before we knew it Dawn was a cute little toddler.  But unfortunately, her randomized trait is fussy.  Laura: Ohh boy I am in love with Aylin's study area under her bed.
